During the season of
Pentecost (May 27 - November 25) we’ll use Form IV of the Prayers of
the People, which begins on page 388.
Lections First Lesson:
Isaiah 6:1-8 (Whom shall I send..... Here am I. Send me.) Psalm
29 Afferte Domino (Ascribe to the Lord, you
gods.) Second Lesson: Revelation 4:1-11 (In a vision, the
twenty-four elders cast their crowns before the throne of
God.) Gospel: John 16:12-15 (Jesus promises to send the
Advocate.)
Collect for Trinity
Sunday: Almighty and everlasting God, you have given to us
your servants grace, by the confession of a true faith, to
acknowledge the glory of the eternal Trinity, and in the power of
your divine Majesty to worship the Unity: Keep us steadfast in this
faith and worship, and bring us at last to see you in your one and
eternal glory, O Father; who with the Son and the Holy Spirit live
and reign, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

Sunday For with your connnn-eternal Son and Holy Spirit,
you are one God, one Lord, in Trinity of Persons and in Unity of
being; and we celebrate the one and equal glory of you, O Father,
